Woollahra Weekend wrap up

Hey guys this is just fowarded from the Woollahra weekly email just so you know that weve been getting some burn hahah.

Weekend Wrap
The boys in blue rose at the crack of dawn to bundle 8 extra e-tags into their Ferraris for a trip to whoop-whoop. The Frenchies in the back of my vehicle enjoyed the voyage, likening Pennant Hills Road to the Champs Elysees. By 10am it was 35 degrees and the bacon and egg burgers smelt great. But there was rugby....... finally some serious, half structured, tough rugby to be played. After a long summer on overpriced low carb beer and late nights spading that unattainable German backpacker, it was time to jump in the dirt and belt someone.
The blokes who turned up played tremendously well. There was a toughness and direction to much of the play, especially the first and last match of the day. Big Chris Meharg played like a fiend, pinching balls and charging off the sides of the ruck. Schliebsy tucked the ball under his wing and darted away clear for a few early season meat pies. Chucky finally let go of the dream and returned to the piggies where he will no doubt become a very good hooker. The backs ran straight and hard for most of the day and defended well in the middle. Simon Thommo got through a mountain of work and new recruit Tommy the half threw some good balls. JP directed traffic early on in a return to No 10. Extra credit must got to blokes like the Frogs, Cedric and Jerome and the Seppos, Adam and Phil, who between them played probably every minute of football on the day. They played hard and would still be running around now if you asked.

We went to watch the Waratahs train tuesday which was cool. We have our last pre season game this weekend then its on to playing for points. We will get back to you after this weekend to let you know how it went . . . still job hunting might have something but not sure yet . . .wel keep ya posted.
